harris and mallow verichrom 31 day wall clock. 30 yrs old. owner is asking $40.00 but claims the clock was wound and didn't run after being in storage for several months which was ten years ago. will years of tension on the spring hurt? is it worth $40.00 and repair costs?

These Korean movement clocks are often problematic to repair.
If the owner paid YOU the $40, it probably would not be worth having it repaired. For $15 you could see if it would run and then not be too upset if it did not work. try Ebay
