Clocks, Watches/mantle clock center shaft worn

Question
Sir, I have a H Miller mantle clock (3 chimes plus hour strike) - about 20 years old. It runs perfectly. However it appears as if the center wind up shaft has worn over time. The key (have two) now justs spins when attempting to wind it although the key works perfectly on the chime/strike shafts shafts. Are different size keys available? Thanks!!

Answer
yes, keys are available in about 25 different sizes. If you give me all of the numbers on the back of the clock movement I should be able to figure out what size you need.
At my company, www.norkro.com the current price for clock keys is $2.50 plus shipping.
It is possible that you have been using a key that is too large for the shaft and over time either the key or the shaft was damaged.
