Clocks, Watches/pocket watch

Question
QUESTION: I was given a cheaper battery operated pocket watch when I retired. The minute hand seems to be sitting too high on the end and stops the second hand from turning when it comes around and touches it.  How can I push the end of the minute hand down?  I can loosen the clock works but can't get to the hand unless I can get the pin that controls the setting of the time loose.  Any ideas??

ANSWER: Hi Ricky
would it be possible to email me a picture of the clock/watch with a close up of the back & front?
Regards

QUESTION: I have no way of doing that, sorry.  Wondered if they unscrewed or snapped in, etc.  Antwat thatnks for replying...  Ricky

Answer
Have you resolved the problem with your pocket watch?
If you haven't, then i would suggest that the hand setter would more likely be of the push on/off type.
If you are not sure ,then i would suggest that a local watch repairer would be able to attend to this for you.
I hope this has been of some help to you.
