Question
I have a kitchen clock, manufactured by the Ansonia Clock Company, New York USA, it's possible know the date it was made.

Please can you help me?

best Regards

Answer
You need to either purchase or find someone with a copy of Tran Du Ly's book of Ansonia clocks. There will most likely be a photo or drawing of the clock. The date in the book tells you of a year that the clock appeared in the Ansonia catalog. Your clock was most likely made within a few years of that date. Here is some information on the book:

This book has the most complete information on Ansonia clocks. The author has also written books on most of the other large clock factories.
