Hi,

I inherited an old pocket watch from my dad. It's an Illinois Autocrat model with 17 jewels, serial number 3957920. Do you know when it was made? Also, do you have any suggestions on how to find someone who can repair it? I would really like to get it repaired, I live in Southwestern Ontario.

It was made in 1922.  

Look for watchmakers.

If you can't find any, ask for a referral from
a local jeweler.

If that does not work, you can send it away.  I
don't know of anyone in Canada but I am sure there
are plenty of qualified watchmakers.

If all else fails, you can send it to me.
