Question
Howard Miller Model 610-584 I live in Mexico and had my clock repaired locally for broken wind up mechanism right weight. It now works great except the Triple Chime Selection Dial. On Westminster , the chime is on during the day and off at night. On 4/4 silent chime is off and the dial will not turn to select Silent.  The Mexican repair company doesn't answer their phone. Can I fix it myself?

in the back of each little dial adjuster there is a slotted head bolt that holds the arm that connects the dial to the mechanism- they put the bolt back in the wrong threaded hole. loose the bolt and move the dial to silent and then the arm to silent and then put the bolt back in the hole the arm is lined up with. similar for the other side.
