Question
My wife aquired a New England Clock Grandfather clock that has a Hermel movement. It is missing the weights and pendulum, and sems to have been wound up tight. Are the missing parts available, and is it worth attempting to fix it? The movement is marked: 82, Hermel Black Forest Clocks, Amherst Virginia,1161-853 HS,114 cm,60

Answer
it is Hermle and made in 1982 and probably worth fixing if you have a wish to have it in your home.

These will work, but you would like to double check the inside side to side measurement (need about 16")to make sure the pendulum will have enough room to swing.
