have a kieninger 81k movement and one of the cables is just about broken getting pretty thin; how and what do need to do to fix this?????? thanks

which cable as you face the clock? are there side doors or panels tat allow access to the mechanism and the cable drums on each side?
you will need to know the length of the old cable, but probably this one;
