Question
Found this clock in my parents basement, My Dad removed the chimes because he didn't like the sound. The clock keeps good time, but I can't figure out how to reinstall the chimes, They are attached to the block, there appears to be 2 screw holes in the block. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Answer
You simply need to acquire two chime rods, of a tone suitable to you, then screw them into the two screw holes you refer to.  After doing that adjust the hammer to produce the most appealing sound you can achieve.  Chime rods are available from any clock material store.  If wish me to help you find such a store, provide me with your zip code.  Regards WJP
