Clocks, Watches/Howard miller clock chimes wrong hour

Question
My clock chimes two hours behind real time. I tried turn the dial forward two hours and then set it back. I do not know what to do? Any ideas?

Answer
Move the hour hand (not the minute hand) back to the time that the hour is striking. Advance the minute hand to the next quarter, let it chime each quarter hour then advance to the next one until you reach the current time.
This will solve the problem on most chiming clocks. Let me know if it doesn't.
