Question
Who repairs Grandfathers clocks for model number 101 on the Emperor clock movement.
Please let me know ASAP.

Answer
There is a way to replace the movement. If it is a Jauch movement there is a replacement kit but you have to also change the chime block, hands and at least 2 of the weight inserts.
The kit includes wooden blocks to set the new movement on because it is smaller. It's not too hard to do the change out, I have done them in about one hour.
If you are interested give me all the markings on the back of the movement and I'll get more details for you.

Any reputable clock repair person should be able to repair your clock. Empire used German clock movements and the only consideration is that they usually used Jauch movements and Jauch is out of business so parts are not available.
