Question I have a Hermle 451-053 movement that had stopped running and after I oiled it it now is running OK, but the chime sounds for each 15 minutes and the hour are off. This has happened before and it seemed like it self restored the correct chime sequence, but it has now run for 2 days and is still not correct. Can you help - thanks a lot. Don
Answer as to the 15 min off- remove the nut and the minute hand and put the hand back on correctly 90 degrees from where it is now.
move the hour hand (short one) to agree and point at the number on the dial the same as the number of strikes the clock bongs. Reset the correct time with the minute hand as usual
