Question I have a black gilbert mantle clock time and strike with 6 pillars which is missing the gong,bell and hammer.Any idea of the type of gong and hammer and size of bell I need to get? It has arabic numerals and is marked Gilbert clock co on movement so I assume it is a later model? Thanks.
Answer the hammer will be a problem because it is part of the internals of the clock mechanism.
Bell? not sure they had a bell at all - a gong, yes
