QUESTION: I have been trying to locate some information about a grandfather clock made by the Colonial Mfg. Co., Zeeland, Michigan.  The model number is 706; movement number is 132; and the dial is DL GL.  Can you help.

ANSWER: I have worked on a lot of colonial clocks but don't have any specific information on the factory. Are you looking for company history?

QUESTION: What I am really looking for is the approximate value of the clock as outlined above.  Can you help with this?

I don't know what the model 706 looks like. When I ran my clock shop in San Diego from 1997 to 2003 I used to sell grandmother clocks of similar make for $600 to $800. Grandfather clocks usually sold for $700 to $1,000. My only advice to get a current value is for you to search ebay to see how much people are paying for them right now.
