Question
I inhereited an old Hentschel grandfather wall clock from my grandfather.  It is a beautiful clock with the moving moon phases.  I always remember it running at my grandfathers home when I was a child.  It is chain driven with the 3 brass weights.  Question:  There is only one very long chain..but 3 weights!!  Am I missing some chains?  Could you direct me to where I would find a manual with diagrams on how to get this old clock going again.  I am just unsure how to put the weights on.  Thanks for you help.

Answer
seems missing 2 chains.  Without the chains you cannot put it together-- I suggest you call a pro, they can determine the chains needed and put it together- you cannot do it yourself even if you had the chains if they are not in place where they belong.
