Our antique ansonia clock recently came to life and started running and chiming. However it gains time. I have inserted the key and turned it clockwise in the S/F window. This does not seem to work. Please help

How fast does your clock run during a 24 hour periode?  Once you have detiremined this, turn the s/f setting to its maximum clockwise setting.  After 24 hours note the effect on the clock.  (the amount gained or lost).  Next turn the s/f to its maximum counter clockwise, again after 24 hours note the effect on the clock.  With this information at hand I would be in a better position to suggest a remedy.  Regards WJP
