how can i get chimes strike correct hour you could not give answer for lack of info. my clock is acolonial mrg. mod.721081. ithas 3 chains time 1/4 hr. and hour dose not chime correct hr. how can i fix this thank you.    jim

I am sorry, the information you have provided is of no help to me.  If I understand you correctly the clock chimes function on the 1/4 hour but the hour strike is incorrect.  If my assumptions are correct let me know.  If I am wrong let me know what is happening and what is supposed to happen.  If the clock doe chime on the quarter hour, how is it chiming, is the first quarter delivering 4 blows,8 blows, what?  If the problem is for the hourly strike, when does it strike, 10 minutes before the hour, 10 minutes after the hour?  Is the number of strikes correct for the hour?  Does it strike 10 times for the 12th hour, What?  Regards WJP
