QUESTION: The clock only clicks once then noting happens it has three different chime settings and none of them work. The person that gave me the clock said that they worked before we moved it.If your facing the clock I put the 7.7lb.on the left and a7.7lb.in the middle and a 11Lb.on the right. Only the middle weight is descending.Thanks.Steve

Answer
You have the weights in their proper positions.  Try this, with the clock running, have someone turn the minute hand to trigger release of the chime, at this same time you should pull down on the heaviest weight with about 2 pounds of effort.  If this does not cause the chime to work you best stop the clock and have it inspected.  If the clock chimes with the added weight, it needs cleaning.  Regards WJP
