Clocks, Watches/Clock running slow .

Question
I have a newly inherited (wind-up) wall clock that runs slow .You can wind and set time one day and by the next day , it will be approx.30 minutes slow and will continue to lose time each day .I know nothing of clocks and would like to know how to adjust it so the time will be true an a daily basis . The only identity I see on the clock is " D&A " on the clock face and " Regulator " on the glass door covering the clock face .I see no other identification on the clock .Any help will be truly appreciated .

Answer
I'm guessing that the clock has a pendulum that swings back and forth. There will be a nut under the pendulum bob at the bottom. If you turn the nut clockwise the bob will be raised higher to speed the clock up. This nut is your timing adjustor.
Let me know if it is not a pendulum clock or you need further help.
