Question
I am trying to locate (I think) it would be called a bezel, round part with glass in it that you see thru to see the clock face for this clock its about a 24" brass and green marble clock that was sorta expensive and quite ornate, any ideas?

Answer
Hi,

Bezels, front glasses and combinations of both are available from any good clock supply house like Timesavers (www.timesavers.com) or Merritts Antiques (www.merritts.com). I'm not sure what dimension 24" refers to, but will assume that you mean the overall clock dimension and are not looking for a bezel that large, which would of course be a problem.

While clock glasses are often standard, bezels are usually specific to the clock. It can be quite difficult finding a bezel that fits a particular clock.  http://www.clockmasteronline.com
