Question
QUESTION: Hi
I have Waterbury Janeway One-Day spring strike.
Can not find any info. on this clock. I would also like to buy the movement for it.
Any info will help
Thanks
Bob

ANSWER: I have been unable to find any information about this clock through my personal library.  I do, however find reference to my having serviced several of them through my shop.  The last one I serviced was 22" high of walnut and had an 8 day time & strike movement with alarm.  I noted at the time the clock was circa 1895.  I do know they were available with one day time and strike movements as well.  I'm sorry but this is the best I can do for you.  Regards WJP

Answer
Pictures would not help, I simply do not have anymore information than already provided.  If you are bent upon restoring this clock , you understand there are no no new movements.  You have several options,  1. have the existing movement repaired, 2. seek out a restorable movement,  3.  seek out an already restored movement.  Personally I would opt for 1.  Regards WJP
