Question
I have a pocket watch coin silver case with a shield and scrolls around it. silver chain key wound. back cover has coinsilver 2280 on it.inside has Wm. ELLERY Boston Mass 127255. The watch is in great condition was wondering as to how old it is and is it worth anything?

Based on the serial number you gave, it is from 1864.
What it is worth is based on the condition mostly.
Use ebay to see what similar watches are selling for.
If it is in good condition, it has some value.
