I have a Linden" - Quartile chimes clock # on back S0179N it was purchased in 1991 as a gift for my parents it no longer works I am wondering if I can purchase the Quarts part and replace it myself or is it worth replacing Thank yo for your time Katie

I don't think the original movement will be available anymore but there are after-market quartz movements that should be suitable for your clock. I don't know what your movement looks like or what functions it performs but if you describe it to me I'll help you pick one out. You will most likely need to get new hands as well.
Does the clock have a pendulum?
Does it chime on the half and hour or every quarter hour?
How long is the hand shaft? (you need to take the movement out of the clock to measure this, I can tell you how to remove it)
How long is the minute hand from the mounting hole to the tip?
Can you attach a digital photo of the movement?
