Question
Our clock chimes an hour behind what the time actually is.  For example when it is 4:00 it chimes 3 times.  We thought it might self adjust, but has not.  We also let it run all the down and reset it, but that didn't work either.  How can we correct his problem?

Answer
Move the hour hand (shorter hand) back one hour. Now the clock and the hands are at the same hour. To get to the correct time; advance the minute hand, stop each quarter hour to let it chime, stop when you get to the correct time.
