Question
I purchased a General Electric co Ships bell clock, model number 6B06.  I can't find anything about it.  It has Pat Des# J31546 jd, engraved on the same plate at the model number, only it is engraved in handwriting. I think the jd might be who engraved it? It also has a series of numbers for the patent 1495936.1546269.1788386 w/indicator 1615664 w/alarm 2002421  2002433.  Can you tell me anything about it? It still chimes, and keeps time, etc

Yours is one of 4 different ships bell clocks made by either Telechron or GE starting in 1938.  Yours was the last, with production starting in 1948 and ending in 1951.  The 6B18 was known as the "Nantucket", and constructed of Mahogany using real brass on the bezel and spokes.
