Our clock was working perfect until a recent move.  At which time it quit chimeing on the hour.  The clock keeps perfect time and chimes on the quarter, half, and three quarter, as well as the hour, but does not chime the Hour.  I have tried the different chime tones, but nothing seem to help.  I checked to make sure the wire the weight is on was not tangled, and it wasn't.  Any help will be appreciated.

your problem is in the left side of the clock as you face it.

check the left side of the movement maybe it has a door or panel to lift out?

check the 4 hammers that strike the hour to see if maybe they are caught on something?

or the cable is tangled on the drum. try turning by finger the gears for the drive on the four hammers to see if they move.
