warmink part
Pendulum and this part ( photo) was taken out due to damage during transport. but now can not get the part back in the clock, is there a special way to get back in?
thanks

Answer
The items in your picture are called, (top) pendulum spring, (bottom) pendulum leader.  Your first order of business will be to replace the pendulum spring.  The one have is not all there and is broken.  Take the parts you have remaining to a clock repair facility, where you should be able to purchase the correct replacement.  With that in hand you should be able to hang the parts yourself.  Protruding from the back and at the top of the backplate there will be a slotted post.  The pendulum spring you just acquired fits into the slot of this post.  Most likely there is a knurled bolt passing through the slot which you will use to retain the spring in place, if there is no bolt use a tapered pin in lieu thereof.  With the pendulum spring in place you will readily see how the pendulum leader is to be hooked to the bottom of the pendulum spring.  If you do not understand these instructions, send me some oblique view picture of the clock backplate.  I will diagram on these pictures what you should do.  Quite honestly I believe that will prove to be an unnecessary step.  Regards WJP

CommentThank you for your timely and clear response I wrote to you because I live here in Japan and quite frankly have never seen a ` real clock` repair shop, nowadays clocks all have batteries! Not even sure if I can buy the pendulum spring but will give it a go thanks again Jonni still not sure how they all fit in but first will try to get the spring
