Question
My wife and I found a very nice grandmother clock in an antique store manufactured by the "Trend Clock Company". The only problem is, it is missing the weights. It is chain driven and the pendulem is intact. It is Model Number 841W with Movement No. 100. Additional info- Pack- 2790, whatever that means. Can just ANY set of weights be used? I've cjecked the history of this company online and have looked at grandfather clock parts, but I cannot find any information... can you offer any help on where to find the appropriate weight set? Thanks a bunch!!

Answer
The weights need to be matched to the movement. If they are too light, the clock won't work. If they are too heavy the movement will wear out prematurely.
I need to know what numbers are stamped on the back of the clock movement. Please look inside the back of the clock and tell me what these numbers are.
