Question

Ridgeway clock
I have a   Dial-E3, Model-131, Movement-HL, Finish-COA4, Serial 11480. My mom fell and knocked down the clock. From what I can tell the part that the pendulum hangs on (shaft) which is part steel and part brass is broken and there is a z shaped part that this shaft hits is bent out of shape. Is it possible to still get parts for this clock. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Stan

Answer
mfg info is stamped on the back of the mechanism --need that to help

the Z shaped part should be "L" shaped with the foot of the L parallel to the floor and the pendulum leader hanging through the slot and the suspension spring ( what broke) holding the upper end of the leader and pinned to the suspension post off the top rear of the mechanism

The suspension springs break all the time and are gerneric and available at clock shops (bring the two halves if you have them --and the stamped info)

or here (probably the one):
