Clocks, Watches/loop end main spring

Question
How do you work on the loop end main spring on a Centurion 35 day clock? The spring just came off I believe.

Answer
I really don't understand your problem.  A loop end spring is normally fitted over one of the posts that secure the clocks plates together.  I cannot visualize a circumstance where a loop end spring could come loose, in an assembled clock, without the spring breaking.  In which case you would need to install a new mainspring.  If you can send me a digital picture of the condition.  Regards WJP
