Question
I have an old mantel clock I bought in Germany. The person I bought it from said it was from East Germany. The only name I can find on it is on the face. URGENA Its an 8 day wind up with chimes. Would like any info. about it like age and value. Thanks.

Answer
I do not place value on items I have not personally inspected.  However, with some additional information I might be able to tell you something about your clock.  The information needed will be stamped or engraved upon the clocks brass backplate.  To access this information I suspect all that you need do is to open the door on the back of your clocks case.  Copy down and send me all the information you can find there.  Regards WJP
