Question
I have a Franz Hermle 340-020A. It is a three hole wind up. I am not sure how I am to wind. Do I need to wind all three. Is there a proper order for winding. Clock is in excellent working condition. Though last night I put it in silent mode and it is now chiming out of sequence. Thank you for your time.

Answer
It does not matter what sequence you use in winding your clock.  The movement you identify has an automatic reset for the chime sequences.  If this feature does not function, describe to me how the chime is operating.  With that information at hand I will describe the appropriate manual reset procedure.  Regards WJP
