Clocks, Watches/Sligh Mantle clock stops after a while

Question
I purchased a Sligh Mantle clock at a garage sale.  I think the model is 0505-1 DF, mvmt 2962.  The movement is a Hermle 1050-021.  The clock runs and chimes rather decently but then just stops after some random time from a few days down to a few hours.  The center wind spring seems fully wound.  The oscillating wheel appears to run Ok but I have noticed a couple times that it occasionally appeared to be favoring one side enough to not advance to ratchet wheel.  Is this a spring problem, a timer problem, or something else.  I am fairly good at repairing things but not flush with money to spend on major repairs.  If not reasonably fixable by me, might you need it for parts?

Answer
the back of the movement where you found "Hermle 1050-021" had other numbers or letters that will give the year it was made.

Most probably needs cleaning - the little balance escapement gets gummy with old oil and old age and sitting around.

not a job for a non-professional.
