Question
Mr. Mills,

I wanted to take the time to thank you for the excellent work you did on my watch.

I went with your service because I wanted the battery changed along with the gaskets so it would still be water resistant.

The watch came back looking and working great.  Thanks again.

Question: Can you perform the same tune up on other brand watches as well?

If so, is it the same price?

Kind regards,

Chris

Answer
Chris,

Thank you very much for the kind words.

I am glad you like the results.

As I had told you before, everyone who has any kind of attachment to a watch should consider a tune up over a battery replacement.

The tune up makes sure the watch case is clean so it closes properly and the gaskets are changed.  When silicon lubricant is used to seal the case, these 3 steps ensure the watch will continue to work to factory specifications regarding the water resistance.

Yes, we do perform the tune ups on all quartz watches.  TWO EXCEPTIONS ARE CITIZEN ECO DRIVES AND SEIKO KINETICS.
We do service those but they are  different animals and therefore will cost more.

To clarify:

A tune up consists of:

change battery
change gaskets
reseal case with silicon sealant
restore factory water resistance
Clean case (based on material)
One year warranty on the battery

I charge $39.

You can send the watch to Mills Watch Repair.

Thank you again, Chris

Kind regards,

Melvin
