Question
I received a Hamilton wall clock with westminister chimes, weights etc when I retired. I am trying to find out further information about it but having no luck. In a search for the Hamilton clock company in Pennsylvania I seem to find it no longer exists. Is this true. Can you assist in stearing me in the right direction to find further information and value. Thanks in advance for your assistance in this matter.

Answer
well you know how old it is because you remember when you retired. Hamilton is out of business

Hamilton made the wood --the movement was made in Germany by the Hermle Co.

you can find current prices of similar clocks made by others today like Howard Miller

as to yours - it is worth more to you than anyone else in the world. and maybe 40% of current prices for similar.
