Question
My question is I purchased a Keininger Clock with a 340 020 movement and the clock runs great, too great actually it runs about a minute fast a day.  I have several pendulum clocks and have no problem adjusting them but I am totally lost on how to adjust this clock to slow it down.  Can you help me please?  Thanks in advance.

Answer
These movements have used two different kinds of balances in them. You can see the balance rotating back and forth if you look inside the back of the clock.
The newer balances have a coil hairspring and the time keeping is adjusted by turning the long screw above the two mounting screws.
The older balances have a coil spring that runs up above the part of the balance that is rotating. These are harder to do a time keeping adjustment on.
Can you send me a photo of your balance so I can see what one you have?
