Question
hello....i have a desk clock that i have dismantled to find that it has a young town 12888 battery operated movement. there are batteries in the base with four wires soldered onto a circuit board within the movement. i would like to replace this entire movement but i can find no information on this movement or a source for replacement. all others have the batteries located in the movement. the hands are also very short. can you help? i can supply more information.  ....regards ....steve....

Answer
I am not a young town dealer although I am familiar with some of their products. This one does not sound familiar. I don't know what the 4 wires soldered onto the circuit board would be for.
Can you send me a photo of the clock movement?
