Question
I have a mantle clock with a franz hemle movement. It is numbered 340-020 and is listed as a 2 jewel unadjusted. It loses 5 minutes a day. You had answered this with a picture but I was unable to access the picture. Would you mind sending that back to us? I found this same question for back in 2008. How do we make this clock go faster? Thank you in advance!

Answer

balance

balance
balance: Little tricky but..here is photo (below)of the regulating unit on the top rear of your clock movement- hold the rim of #6 while moving any one of the 3 prongs on #5 as far as it will go to the right with a pencil. This will make it go as fast as it can without overhaul.
