Question
Good day Sir,
Found a caravelle pocket watch, self winding. On back at the top it says(what I can make of it), " base??ALM5".Was bought in the 60's.I know you don't give appraisals, so is this worth keeping?

Answer
Caroll,

Keeping it doesn't cost anything.

Fixing it is another matter.

Caravelle is made by Bulova.  The majority of it's value is probably
sentimental value.  That is what you will have to use to value it.

Not much sentimental value= not worth fixing most likely.

Kind regards,

Melvin
