Clocks, Watches/resetting chimes

Question
I have an old Seth Thomas mantel clock. I'm guessing about 90 years old. Recently the chimes have become 4 hours out of synch with the time. The half hour strike is OK. Is this something i can fix? I don't see any obvious markings on the clock to identify it. Thank you for your help. Fritz

Answer
move the minute hand to 3 minutes before an hour and then back up the hand to 25 minutes before the same hour--this will advance the bongs one hour more each cycle you do this --till the hour will agree when you move the hand all the way past the # 12.
