QUESTION: Hi
I can't get it to strike the correct number of hours against the actual time, if the time is nine o'clock it strikes twelve times.

best regards

Answer
Okay this is quite simple.  The hour hand of your clock is held in place by friction.  So, for example, your clock reads 12:00 but has struck 9 times, you simply turn the hour hand from 12 to 9.  This will synchronize the time with the strike.  You would then set the clock in the normal manner to the correct time.  Regards WJP
