Question
I wanted to see if I could perhaps repair a clock I recently purchased, bought a key for, it was wound tightly, would not keep time.  I took the back off, the spring unwound, and gears flew everywhere.  Obviously, I am not sure what I am doing, but would like to try to put things back together.  Would you have a diagram of gear placement that might help?  Thanks

Answer
Sorry I don't have what you need.  Placing of gears into a clock is pretty much straight forward.  I suggest you go to your local library and ask them to loan you a copy of the following book; "The Clock Repair Primer by Philip E Balcomb".  The pictures and diagram contained therein should be of immense help to you.  Regards WJP
