what would a ridgeway grandfather clock from the 70's, model #265 ODESSA movement 1161-853  94cm, in VERY good shape- be worth?

how would YOU know IF it is in "very good shape" or what do you mean? you mean the furniture is pretty?

What about the 40 year old mechanism? most are trashed after 25 years so I suspect yours without more info.

What are ALL the numbers on the back of the mechanism itself??

my profile says:any mechanical clock question -no watches- no battery clock questions and no appraisals-ie: "how much is my clock worth?" type questions please!

Since the value of a clock depends largely on the condition of the mechanism and I AM the mechanism expert and you probably are not, you did need some enlightenment on how to value your clock if you are needing a accurate value. None of the experts will answer a "how much is my clock worth" question, due to the condition that can not be determined without actually seeing the clock first hand. I was trying to open your understanding on the subject by asking you to think about the problems in answering your question on this forum without seeing the clock, and was asking about the numbers on the back because, with the info, I could help you further, perhaps.
