Question
We have this clock a very long time is is made in West Germany by S Haller unadjusted one jewel.  My question is where do I get the correct key to wind it?  I have been to 2 clock places and all say the post is to large for the twist keys and a crank key can not be turned because the stem is only 1/2 inch long.  What do I do? Do all the clocks have different keys and why?  Thank you, Carolyn

Answer
need a 6.1 mm square key -- most shops do not carry them, but they are available--the crank key is the one for this clock but a wing key will do -- or try your automotive 1/4" ratchet socket on it.

here is a place to buy the key or call looking for a #16 Swiss or #19 American key (both are 6.2mm)
