Sears,Roebuck&Co. model #small 4 7388 made in usa general timer corp battery casing. patent # 2986683 and 3618690.That is all the ledgeable info on there. Please let me know.Thank You,Kim

Answer
You might be able to replace the movement without taking the whole clock in for repair.
A simple quartz movement should fit but the hands might need to be modified at the mounting holes or you they could be replaced.
You would need to take the movement out of the clock. Remove the hands and then there should be a nut at the base of the hand shaft that you unscrew to remove the movement out the back.
Let me know if you don't want to do this or need more instructions.
The clock is probably from the 1960s. This is based on the style but I don't have firm information on that.
