I have a sterling silver pocket watch it has 2 back covers one has a key for it stamped on the inside (gears) is lewis remy new york on the front cover is a coat of arms inside back cover m17894 jb18 6 00 #11 4567 can you tell me any of this watches history

Sorry, per my resume', the blurb that led you to me, I respond to questions relating to mechanical clocks only.  I suggest you peruse the resume's of other allexperts to see if one or more does handle watches.  Before closing, I seem to recall Lewis Remy was an important provider of fine watch and clock movements.  Unfortunately, I have been unable to locate him in any of the reference materials remaining in my possession.  Regards WJP
