Question
I have a Howard Miller movement in a grandfathers clock. Model #4885 triple chime weight driven movement. After leveling clock with a precision level it still stops running after 5 minutes. I did put a new suspension pendulum spring on the clock. It ran fine for a while afer that though. I do notice that the pendulum seems to waver when it is swinging though.

Answer
I suspect that the suspension spring you used is not a suitable replacement for the movement. This will cause pendulum "wobble".
If you can tell me the numbers stamped on the back of the clock movement I'll suggest a replacement suspension spring to match the movement.
