Hi.  I'm curious about a clock that was passed down from my grandmother.  I'd like to know how old it is and its origin.  There is a label in the box behind the pendulum and has several words.  They include E. Lauffer GMBH, Uhrenfabrik, Schwenningen A.N., Schwarzwald.  Thanks so much for any help.

Without actually seeing the clock I won't be of much help to you.  I can only tell you what you, probably already know.  The clock was made by the firm of E. Lauffer in Schwenningen, Blackforest, Germany.  Unfortunately that is the extent of my knowledge upon this subject.  Regards WJP
