QUESTION: WJP,
It is the center time train spring.

Answer
Model 1051 uses a #50 barrel for the time train.  All you would need do is to contact a clock materials house and tell them you need a number 50 Hermle barrel and mainspring.  One of the search engines would help you locate a materials house in your area.  It is important for you to locate one that sells to the public as well as the trade, examples; Merritt's Antiques, TimeSavers and Ronell Clocks.  Regards WJP
