Question
QUESTION: Where can I purchase a Minute Hand Nut for a Jlaid Chiming Mantle Clock? Several years ago, my wife received this clock from her Mother.  My wife took it to a clock repairman to have it cleaned.  The repairman went out of business and abandoned all of the clocks in his possession.  When we finally recover this clock is was still torn apart and the minute hand nut was missing.  Any help will be appreciated.

ANSWER: I need to know who made the clock movement. Please look at the back of the clock movement and tell me what markings are stamped on it.

QUESTION: This is the information on the clock movement:77 W. Haid 340-020

Answer
Your clock movement was made by Hermle. The hand nut you need fits most of their clock movements. We sell an assortment of hand nuts for $9.95 at the following page:

I don't know anyone selling that nut for a lower price.
If you do order this put a note in the special instructions box that you need the nut for a 340-020 hermle movement. We will be sure you get at least one that fits your clock.
